Hopefully, this blog will keep my family and friends updated on our lives. They can check the blog at their leisure, and I won't be bugging them with massive e-mails about all the chaos that reigns in this household.
Please bear with me as I learn to download pictures and navigate the various parts of this blog. It is my usual MO to just jump head first into things and figure them out as I go. It drives my husband crazy.
Get ready - this should be fun!
It only seems appropriate that your bestest friend from high school should have the first word here. I had to create an account so I could leave this comment. Lori was here.
ReplyDeleteI've been knitting and crocheting for years. The number of scarves and afghans I've made would fit neatly into one of those math correlations about how many times something would reach the moon and back if laid end to end. I was once married to a guy who was in the habit of stealing my Zen. Knitting brought it back. I can get with the thing about just jumping in and doing something. Who needs instructions when you can accomplish the same thing by making needless mistakes and tying yourself in knots? It's a characteristic that has brought some interesting projects to life. Got any knitting-gone-wrong stories?
